Privacy policy
FutureLens is a static education site. We keep data collection intentionally small.
We do not provide account services and we do not ask you to submit passwords, private keys, seed phrases, verification codes, API keys, KYC documents or financial account details. If a page ever appears to ask for those, treat it as suspicious and leave.
What may be processed
We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-QJCBDMRK36) on every page to understand which articles get read. It records the pages you view, the site that sent you, how long you stay, whether you scroll to the end, clicks on outbound links, your browser, device type and screen size, and an approximate location at roughly city level.
Google says GA4 does not log or store IP addresses. What we see in GA4 is aggregate reporting, such as how often an article was read in a week and where readers tend to arrive from, and we use it to decide which topics to extend and which pages to fix. We cannot see your name, and we do not match this data with your email address or anything else. Google processes and stores the data; its privacy policy explains how.
Cloudflare, which hosts and serves this site, also counts visits: it logs requests at the network level (time, page, referrer, rough region, device class) and injects its own small page-view script at the edge. That count sets no cookie, is not used to identify you, and reaches us only as aggregate numbers.
Cookies
GA4 sets two cookies: _ga, which tells one visitor from another, and _ga_QJCBDMRK36, which keeps track of the current visit. Both last two years and hold a random identifier, not your name or contact details. Cloudflare’s page-view count sets no cookie, and our own code sets no others.
If you would rather not be counted, install Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout) or use a browser or extension that blocks trackers; either one stops the data being sent. Blocking or clearing this site’s cookies only stops GA4 from recognizing you as a returning reader. None of this affects your ability to read anything here.
The site does not currently show a cookie consent banner, so GA4 loads as soon as a page opens.
Fonts and outbound links
Pages may load Google Fonts and link to external source domains. External sites have their own privacy practices.
Local tools
The checkers on this site run in the browser and are meant for education. They do not require account details and should not be used to submit secrets.
